Graze Review (First Box)

I was super excited when our Graze box showed up in the mail yesterday. Graze is a new healthy snack subscription box service. Their boxes are $5.00 each and can be delivered weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. Currently, they are offering your first and fifth box for free. You can choose between the regular nibblebox, or the lightbox which features lower calorie snacks. As you try snacks, you can rate them on the Graze website as "trash", "like", or "love". Trashed snacks will never show up in your boxes, liked snacks will show up occasionally, and loved snacks will show up regularly.

This is what our nibblebox looked like:

The box came complete with a napkin and a cute, personalized booklet containing a welcome message and nutritional information for each snack. Papa Frog and I dove right in.

The first snack we tried was the summer betty compote with wholemeal shortbread. The compote was delicious. It was sweet, but not overly so, and it complemented the shortbread perfectly. It's definitely a snack we could both see ourselves trying again. Our verdict: Like.

The next snack we tried was the honeycomb crunch. Honeycomb crunch is a mixture of milk chocolate honeycomb, almonds, and raisins. Papa Frog and I were both a little bit apprehensive about the honeycomb having never had it before, but we gave it a try. The mixture works amazingly well together. I immediately found myself wishing that I had a whole bag of the stuff. Our verdict: Love.

We decided to try the British barbecue next, to break up the sweet snacks. This snack is made up of basil baguettes, rosemary crostini, smoked almonds, and seeds. Papa Frog really enjoyed this. I thought it was good, but not something I would necessarily snack on alone. I do think it would be delicious on a salad, which I will try the next time it pops up in our box. Our verdict: Like.

The last snack we tried was the super berry detox, which is a mix of blueberries, cranberries, goji berries, and green raisins. Neither of us had tried goji berries or green raisins before. This snack was sweet, full of flavor, and gone way too fast. Even Froggy was eyeing it. Our verdict: Love.

The final verdict for the whole box: we love Graze! I can't wait for our next snacks to arrive. I'm really hoping that sometime in the future there will be an option to purchase full-size versions of the snacks on their website. Graze is a new company, and you can currently only subscribe if you have an invitation code. If anyone has an unused code that you would like to pass along to a fellow reader, please post it in the comments. Otherwise, those interested in subscribing can join their email list Here to be notified when their service officially launches.

    1. They are one of my favorites! I'm hoping their public launch is soon so that it's easier to try.
